We Don't Let a Little Rain Stop a Concrete Cleaning Job

A little rain never hurt anyone. And it definitely doesn't stop us from getting the work done right. This is something we take seriously - when a job is scheduled, we show up. Period.

Here's what we were working with: a residential sidewalk walkway that had built up a solid layer of grime, algae, and general weathering over time. The kind of buildup that makes concrete look permanently stained, even when it's actually just dirty. That's where a proper surface cleaning setup makes all the difference.

We run a surface cleaner attachment for jobs like this - that round yellow unit you're seeing in the foreground. It spins twin jets of high-pressure water in a controlled pattern across the full width of the concrete. No streaking, no missed spots. Just consistent, even cleaning from one end to the other. It's a far more thorough approach than dragging a wand across the surface and hoping for the best.

The split you can see down the center of the walkway tells the whole story - one side already cleaned, the other still showing the original buildup. That contrast is what we live for. It's proof that the surface wasn't just wet, it was actually cleaned.
