Paver Restoration in Progress and the Difference Is Already Clear

Pavers are one of those things that get ignored until they look really bad. Dirt, algae, and grime build up slowly over time - and before you know it, your patio or walkway looks like it hasn't been touched in years. That's exactly what we were dealing with here.

We're in the middle of a full paver restoration on this curved front walkway and patio. The surface had a heavy layer of built-up grime that was dulling the entire look of the space. You can already see the split between where we've cleaned and where we haven't - the difference in color and clarity is hard to miss.

We use a surface cleaner to do this work right. It spins two high-pressure jets in a controlled pattern across the paver surface, which gives you an even clean without the streaking you'd get from a standard wand. It's the right tool for this kind of job - especially on a large, intricate paver layout like this one.

Once the cleaning is done, we'll follow up with sanding and sealing. That's the part that really locks everything in. The sealer protects the surface from future staining and moisture, and the sand keeps the joints tight so the pavers stay stable underfoot. It's a full restoration, not just a rinse.

Routine cleaning and sealing is what keeps pavers looking this good long-term. Skip it long enough and you're looking at joint erosion, weeds, and surface damage that goes beyond what a cleaning can fix. Staying ahead of it is always the better call.
