Dirt, mildew, and grime have a way of sneaking up on a home. It happens gradually - a little buildup here, some discoloration there - and before long the whole exterior just looks tired. That's exactly the kind of situation we run into all the time, and it's one of the most satisfying things we get to fix.

On this one, we handled both a full house wash and a deck cleaning. The siding had that chalky, streaked look that comes from months of exposure to humidity, pollen, and organic growth. The deck was in a similar spot - dulled out and in need of a good refresh before it could actually be enjoyed. Two different surfaces, but the same goal: get it clean and get it looking like the homeowner can be proud of it again.

For the siding, we use a soft wash approach. That means low pressure combined with the right cleaning solution - nothing that's going to damage the surface or force water behind the panels. It's the correct way to clean vinyl and lap siding, and the results speak for themselves. The color comes back, the streaks lift, and the whole house just looks sharper.

The deck got its own attention too. Composite and wood decking needs to be cleaned carefully so you're lifting the grime without beating up the surface. Getting into the steps, the railings, all of it - that's where the difference between a rushed job and a thorough one really shows up.

A good house washing isn't just about looks either. Mold and mildew left sitting on siding or a deck will break down the material over time. Cleaning it regularly is one of the simplest ways to protect what you've got and keep maintenance costs down the road.
