This Rockville home had a lot going on - brick exterior, a long front porch, and a multi-level deck wrapping around the back. That's a lot of surface area, and every bit of it needed attention. Homes surrounded by mature trees like this one tend to pick up organic buildup faster than most - algae, mildew, pollen, and general grime all add up over time.

We handled the house washing first, going after the exterior surfaces to pull off that layer of buildup that slowly makes everything look dull and neglected. Brick holds onto dirt differently than siding, so we made sure to dial in the right approach to clean it thoroughly without doing any damage. The difference is subtle at first glance, but up close it's night and day.

Then we moved to the deck. Both the main deck and the front porch got a full cleaning - the deck boards came out looking rich and defined again, and the white railings cleaned up sharp. White railings especially tend to show every bit of dirt and mildew. Getting them back to bright white does more for curb appeal than most people expect.

Deck and fence cleaning isn't just about looks either. Mold and mildew sitting on wood surfaces break down the material over time. Regular cleaning is one of the easier ways to extend the life of what you've already got. This homeowner's outdoor spaces are ready to actually be used and enjoyed again.
