This was a full exterior refresh for a Mechanicsville home - house wash, Trex deck, and screened-in porch all taken care of in one visit. Three separate surfaces, each with their own cleaning needs, and all of them done without going too aggressive on the material.

That last part matters more than people realize. Trex and other composite decking materials are not the same as wood or concrete. Too much pressure and you can etch the surface, damage the grain texture, or push water into places it shouldn't go. We dial back the pressure and let the cleaning solution do the heavy lifting instead. The result is a clean deck that still looks the way it's supposed to.

The screened porch gets overlooked a lot. People clean the deck boards and call it a day, but the ceiling, the walls, and the screens inside a porch collect just as much grime and pollen. We worked through the whole space - floor to ceiling - so it's actually ready to use, not just cleaner than it was.

The house wash covers the siding, trim, and all the areas where algae and dirt tend to build up over time. On a home with dark siding like this one, that buildup isn't always easy to spot until it's gone. Clean siding also just holds up better over time - it's not just a curb appeal thing, it's basic maintenance.

Every surface got what it needed. That's really the whole approach. No shortcuts, no one-size-fits-all pressure, just clean work done the right way.
