Gutters packed with debris are one of those things homeowners don't think about until there's a real problem. Water backs up, starts sitting against the fascia, and before long you've got rot, leaks, or worse. This home had exactly that going on - and one section had actually sprouted a full tree growing right out of the gutter channel. That's not a minor buildup. That's years of organic material turned into a planter box on the roofline.

We did a complete gutter cleanout across the whole home. That means clearing every channel, flushing the downspouts, and making sure water has a clear path to drain the way it's supposed to. A home like this - surrounded by mature trees on all sides - collects debris fast. It's not a one-and-done situation, but getting it fully cleaned out gives everything a proper reset.

We also ran a full house wash on the exterior. The siding, trim, the sunroom addition, the covered front entry - all of it got cleaned. Soft washing is the right approach here. It gets into the buildup that pressure alone can't break down, without beating up the siding or forcing water behind trim.

The difference is pretty obvious once you're standing in front of it. The siding color reads correctly again, the white trim pops, and the whole exterior just looks maintained. For a property this size with this much tree coverage, keeping up with the gutters and exterior wash is genuinely one of the better things you can do to protect your investment long-term.
