Your front entry is the first thing anyone sees. Before a guest even knocks on your door, they've already formed an opinion - and dirty, stained brick steps can undercut everything else about your home's exterior. That's exactly the kind of thing we tackled at this Henrico home.

Here's what we were working with: a set of classic brick front steps that had picked up a solid layer of grime, dark organic staining, and general buildup in the mortar joints. The kind of stuff that scrubbing by hand won't touch. We used targeted pressure washing to pull all of that out without damaging the brick or the surrounding surfaces. Clean mortar lines, consistent color across every course of brick - that's the result you're after.

The curved concrete walkway leading up to the home got the same attention. Concrete can look dull and grimy without you even noticing it happen slowly over time. Once it's clean, though, the difference is hard to miss. The aggregate surface came out bright and even, making the whole path feel like it belongs on a well-kept property - because it does.

When we do concrete cleaning and entryway work like this, we're not just blasting water at a surface. We're adjusting pressure and technique based on what's in front of us. Brick and concrete each respond differently, and getting it right means understanding that. No etching, no streaking, just clean.

The entry is a small area in the grand scheme of your home's exterior, but the impact it carries is anything but small. If your steps or walkway have been sitting under a layer of buildup, it's worth addressing. The difference it makes to the overall look of the property is immediate.
